Simple BBQ Ribs

Simple BBQ Ribs deliver tender, fall-apart country-style pork simmered to softness, then baked under a sticky, smoky barbecue glaze. The meat stays juicy and well-seasoned from the boil, while the oven finish adds caramelized edges. Great for casual weekends or game day when you want satisfying, saucy ribs with minimal fuss.

Simple BBQ Ribs
  1. 1

    Gather all ingredients.

  2. 2

Place the ribs in a large pot and cover them with water. Stir in the kosher salt, garlic powder, and pepper, then bring the water to a boil over medium heat. Continue boiling until the ribs are tender, 40 to 45 minutes.

  3. 3

While the ribs are boiling, preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

  4. 4

Remove the ribs from the pot and set them in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour the barbeque sauce over the ribs. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.

  5. 5

Bake in the preheated oven until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C), 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

  6. 6

    Serve hot and enjoy!
