Chicken Ranch Dijon

Chicken Ranch Dijon pairs golden pan-seared chicken with a tangy, herby ranch–Dijon sauce that clings to tender angel hair pasta. Butter adds richness while a splash of white wine brightens the pan sauce, making every bite savory and lively. Ideal for a weeknight dinner that still feels special and satisfying.

Chicken Ranch Dijon
  1. 1

Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low; keep it at a gentle boil while you complete the remaining steps.

  2. 2

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts in the hot butter until browned and no longer pink inside, about 8 minutes per side. Move the chicken to a platter, cover loosely with aluminum foil, and keep warm.

  3. 3

Whisk the ranch dressing and Dijon mustard together in a bowl. Pour the white wine into the skillet; scrape up and dissolve any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet into the wine. Whisk the ranch dressing mixture into the skillet, lower the heat to low, and bring the sauce to a simmer.

  4. 4

Cook the angel hair in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until cooked through but slightly firm, 4 to 5 minutes. Drain the pasta and toss it lightly with the ranch sauce.

  5. 5

Divide the pasta among 4 serving plates and place a chicken breast on each. Spoon the remaining sauce over the chicken breasts and sprinkle with parsley.
